The project millimetri4 is located in Faedis (Udine) and started in 2009 as a spin-off of Rossi Marmi, an historical brand in the extraction and processing of Piasentina Stone. millimetri4 starts with the know-how achieved in a cutting technique that enables to obtain very thin thicknesses. These reduce wastes and allow process scraps to be re-used.
Integrating the professionalism and creativity of young architects and designers with a great expertise in the traditional field of stone processing, millimetri4 is capable of making the most of a limited natural resource, bringing out the unexpressed potential of this natural material and finding new applications and unexpected uses.
